Permits
The City of Webster Groves has adopted the following codes:
- 2003 International Building Code
- 2002 National Electric Code
- 2003 International Residential Code
- 2003 International Existing Building Code
- 2003 International Plumbing Code
- 2003 International Mechanical Code
- 2003 International Fire Code
In addition to the above, the City's
Zoning Ordinance regulates the permitted uses of land, minimum lot size and width, coverage, building size, heights, and setbacks from property lines.
Zoning Yard Definitions
Permits are only issued to contractors registered with the City. This applies to general, mechanical, fire, fence, and sign contractors, as well as plumbers and electricians. Exceptions are made when a homeowner acts as a general contractor on his or her owner-occupied home.
