1. What are the leash laws for the City of Webster Groves?

The City requires dogs to be leashed when off the premises of their owners. Cats are not allowed off the premises of their owners.

2. Are chickens allowed in Webster Groves?

3. Who do I call for barking dog concerns?

Call the non-emergency Police number at 314-645-3000. Please be advised that in order to obtain a violation, two unrelated property owners/occupants or one property owner/occupant and a Police Officer must observe the barking.

To report a lost or found pet, contact the non-emergency Police Department number at 314-645-3000 or Animal Control at 314-615-0650.

5. Does the City of Webster Groves have restrictions on particular breeds of dogs such as pit bulls or Rottweilers?

There are no breed restrictions in Webster Groves. The City does, however, restrict specific vicious animals.
